I was announced as one of two writers who were awarded prizes in the Mustard Museum's 2008 Children's Book Writing Contest. The book was to be published during 2009.

The first stanza of Mustard Moon

The sky is black as licorice;
the stars are sugar sprinkles.
Beneath the moon, the mustard moon,
a midnight picnic twinkles.
